The coffee with cream was lovely and the food was okay too. This cafe doesn't feel like at the cafe when you're inside. It feels like you're somewhere else.

From the outside, it does not look like much an old run-down weatherd dirty building with no characteristics and not much going for it at all. An old pub i was told. Just one lonely sign saying Costa. You wouldn't know it was a costa there if it wasn't for the one sign. But open those doors, the warm welcome of fresh ground coffee and wonderful atmosphere. The perfect meeting spot a great little coffee hang out with a great big grand fireplace (more should be done with this could be a wow factor) we found two chairs that I can only describe as a gaston chair from beauty and the beast. I felt like Lord of the manor having his afternoon coffee. A very smiley young server lady told me that if you order any large coffee, you get two extras for free like hazlenut syrup and cream. So large I will have from now on. It was very delightful. The only problem with all the costa spots is their food. Nice but somewhat overpriced. Over 5 for a ham and cheese toasty pre made in a bag, in my opinion, is a tad steeap

Very spacious and comfy place for a coffee. The staff is really helpful. If you are lucky you might get parking in the street.

As of Wednesday 26th August 2020 Costa is open until 17:00 although the official Costa App says 16:00. Very friendly staff and it was nice and quiet when we were there so no problem finding somewhere quiet to sit.

Great place to meet up and have coffee with friends. Great choice of food, we had cheese and tomato toastie and cheese and ham toastie and mince pie with cream, very filling. And of course two coastal medium cappacinos. Very reasonably priced. Good location in the high street, near shops and bus stop. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Place is very clean and tidy. Would definitely go again.

I just want to thank the lady again who really gave myself& my client exceptional service, while I was working as a support worker. I did ask for your name however I have forgotten. But I did not forget how amazing you were on Saturday! We came in and out a couple of times to use the facilities and grab a tea/coffee, and everytime you had a massive smile on your face, and was helpful, chatty. I forgot my card and you gave me a free latte. So to the brown-haired, beautiful lady who was working a couple of days ago you are a credit to your team and to the community. PS sorry for the bad photo of you but you made our day special.
